The aims of EFPRA are:
(1) to identify and to co-ordinate the interests of the fat processors and renderers (2) to represent the interests of its members at the EU and other international organisations (3) to promote contact with scientific and commercial organisations in the field of all relevant sectors such as the chemical and the aquaculture industry (4) to promote the highest possible valorisation of animal proteins and fats consistent with the maintenance of assured standards of product safety (5) to carry out research in order to demonstrate and improve the value of processed animal proteins and fats and to identify alternative uses (6) to collect information in the fields mentioned before and make it available for all members (7) to take all necessary steps to achieve the aims stated above EFPRA Member ship list (22/08/02)
