The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California seeks an outstanding, academically-oriented candidate for a full-time faculty position with primary responsibilities in clinical surgical neuropathology.

Candidates must hold an MD degree, be eligible for an unrestricted California Medical License, and be Board Certified (or board eligible at time of appointment) in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology. The successful candidate will share coverage of a busy and growing Neurosurgery service at Keck Medical Center of USC. Participation in another area of anatomic pathology is expected with possibilities including general surgical pathology, autopsy or a second subspecialty area. The candidate will participate in and help develop collaborative research programs, including in benign and malignant brain and spinal cord tumors, pituitary tumors and epilepsy. The position also involves teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated interest in Neuroscience and commitment to an academic practice.

Appointment will be in the Clinical Professor series. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications. The University of Southern California is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
