At the Zoo, Good Night Gorilla, Put Me in the Zoo

Room 126 Classroom News April 3-7

Weekly Activities: We are continuing our Zoo theme this week. The students made zebras with shaving cream and paint, giraffes using watercolor and paper towels, and paper plate elephants to add to our class zoo. They learned a new song The Itsy Bitsy Monkey. We had a special delivery to our room, 5 little caterpillars that the students get to watch them transform from tiny caterpillars into butterflies (which should happen by the end of next week). Once they transform the students will get to feed them fresh fruit and sugar water for a few days and then get to release them outside.

Reminders: * We are in need of food containers and gallon sized ziplock baggies. * Please leave toys at home we have plenty for them to play with and would hate for theirs to get lost or broken.
