App: Voice Thread Bloom’s Taxonomy: Evaulating

Objective: TSW create a digital discussion guide/presentation about a piece of artwork he/she feels most represents an assign art movement. A link to this project will be email to your teacher’s school account. There will be a copy also in the VT account.

Lesson Ideas: (Evaluating) Style Defining Artwork  The student create a Voice Thread that will help present a piece of art that the student believe represents the definition of an art movement, such as Impressionism or Surrealism.  The Voice Thread will include interesting information about the piece and help guide a discussion of the work.  The Voice Thread and discussion will offer evidence to support the student’s choice of artwork representative of the assigned style. How to use Voice Thread

1. Tap on the app icon.

2. Tap on the create icon.

3. Tap on the type of media source you want to use. There are images of famous works of art on the camera roll. You may also take a picture of any of the prints your teacher has on file in the classroom. Select the images you want to use and click done.

4. In the upper left-hand corner, tap the word, Edit, and give your thread a title. You MUST have your code name in your title. Tap done when you have your title.

5. Tap on comment to add comments to your images.

6. Tap the ABC balloon to type your comment/question. Touch save to store the comment or cancel to clear your remarks.

7. To make an audio comment, tap the bubble with the microphone. The app will countdown to the start of the recording. You may save or cancel to re-record your comment.

8. To make a video comment, tap the bubble with the video icon. You may keep your comment by tapping save or tap cancel to record again.

9. Play through your Voice Thread before you email your teacher.
