BISHOP WENDELL LEE DAVIS President Of SURE FOUNDATION MINISTRIES, INC

Bishop Wendell L. Davis was born to Ms. Willa D. Davis, of Pelham Georgia. He’s a Graduate of Pelham High School. He attended Central Tech College for psychology looking to always further his education in the Gospel. On March 31, 1986 Wendell Davis was united in marital bliss to Hilda Grant. Unto them was born three wonderful children, Michael, Odom, and LaToya. They also have six grandchildren and one dog named Dollar.

Bishop Davis retired from the United States Army after 24 years as a Master Sergeant. He was selected by the President of the United States for a special Taskforce to Search for Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). MSG Davis served with North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and United Nations (UN). He has received following decorations, Bronze Star, Meritorious service medal 4th award, Joint Service Commendation Medal Army commendation 7th award, Joint Meritorious unit award, Army Superior Unit and award many more awards and decorations. During his military career MSG Davis has met prominent people around the world and among them are the Prime Minister of East Germany and the last Five Star General of the Army Omar Nelson Bradley. MSG Davis was awarded the letter of commendation from Commanding General, IIId Armored Corps Artillery, saving a life of a soldier. On February 14, 2003 he deployed to Kuwait and in 2004 MSG Davis received an Honorable Retirement.

Wendell Davis gave his life to Christ in the year of 1974, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Pelham, Georgia. He accepted his calling into the ministry and served as a deacon at Living Word Christian Fellowship of Naples, Italy, under the leadership of Pastor Henry J. Hawkins. The Lord led Deacon Davis to Sure Foundation Ministries of Naples, Italy. He served under many auxiliaries such as, Sunday School teacher, Minister of Education, Prayer Warrior, and a Bible Study teacher. Pastor Fredrick A. Ormsby of Sure Foundations Ministries appointed Minister Davis to Associate Pastor.

Bishop Davis received his Ordination into the Ministry with New Testament House of Prayer in Jones, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Lawrence Price. In 1998 the military moved Bishop Davis and his family to Lawton Oklahoma. The Lord led him to start Sure Foundation Ministries, Inc. While serving in the military full time and serving as a full time pastor on May 9, 1999 Sure Foundation Ministries was born. Sure Foundation Ministries, Inc. was founded By Pastor Wendell Davis on Oct 8. 1999, 2007, Pastor, Wendell L. Davis was Ordained to Bishop by Presiding Bishop Frederick A Ormsby to position of First Presiding Bishop of Sure Foundation Ministries, Inc. and President of Sure Foundation Ministries, Inc.
