Welcome and The Prayer to Our Lady of Good Counsel - Read by all at meeting

Mission Statement: To work closely with our parish in meeting spiritual and human needs by creating a spirit of unity through prayers, enrichment, and service in fulfilling the mission of Christ. To promote the spiritual life of our members. To aid and maintain projects of benefit for the church and the parish (and our community).

Secretary’s Report: Char D motion to accept the Secretary's Report, Dorothy F seconded, accepted by all.

Treasurer’s Report: Ending balance as of February 28, 2017 is $16,361.19. Treasurer’s Report was accepted as presented. Good news: $184.50 from sales at Finders Keepers has put us over the $10,000 goal for sales from our 2016 Holiday Boutique.

Sunshine Greetings: Card sent to two CCW ladies in March.

Optional: Purse Donations to Options for Women and the Kenya dormitory project (from February's meeting): Char Dalbec and Kathy Kelly will keep track of the donations.

OLD BUSINESS/Follow-up Items:  February Donations to Baby Shower for Options for Women/Cornerstone Update: 200+ items donated plus 3 boxes of maternity clothes and other baby items from the Help Center. Director was very appreciative of the generous donations from our parish. Open house will be held soon – Bonnie will let us know when it is. We will send them the cash donations and CCW will contribute $150 as budgeted.

 NW Deanery Lenten Day of Prayer on Thurs, March 30th at Christ the King Retreat Center in Buffalo from 9 am to 3 pm. Cost is $35 payable at the door. Includes: speakers, lunch, reconciliation, rosary and mass. Please let Bonnie S know if you plan to attend. Carrie T interested in attending. Lois made motion that CCW pays for those attending conventions and/or retreats, seconded by Sharon and accepted by all.

 ACCW Convention: Friday, April 21st and Sat, Apr 22nd at St Odilia's in Shoreview. Registration due before April 12th for discounted fee. Contact Bonnie if you are interested in attending. Registration prior to 4/12 is at reduced fee. Bonnie will be posting an announcement in the parish bulletin over next couple of weeks, and will make reader stand announcement.

 Censer for Fr. Tony: Char D. Bonnie e-mailed KC’s re: sharing the cost for this purchase. Char D discussed with Fr Tony and he has chosen which Censer he'd like purchased. Father thanked CCW for approving and donating toward this purchase. CCW ok’d purchase and office will order and CCW will reimburse for purchase. Char D made motion to approve the Censer purchase selected by Fr Tony, Janelle seconded and all approved.

 Spring Bling: March 31, April 1 and 2, 2017: Need many helpers on Friday afternoon to get everything set up. Donations can be dropped off in the office. Bonnie will do reader’s stand announcement for March 24th/25th. *We NEED many helpers for this event. Please invite other ladies from the parish to help make this a very successful event. Thanks you!!!! NEW BUSINESS:  Butter Braids Orders during March - need volunteers to take orders after Masses and help with delivery on Wed April 12th: Table will be set up in gathering space for sales after masses. At Spring Bling, a poster will be set up at Cashiers. Order must be submitted by April 3rd for delivery by April 12th. Bonnie will contact Max Diaz for Spanish Mass orders. Helpers needed for sales after masses - contact Bonnie of you can help. Pre-payment of orders prior to delivery - checks can be made out to St Henry’s CCW. Janelle will get money envelopes ready for ButterBraid sales and the Spring Bling. Char D made motion to apply profits from ButterBraid fundraiser toward the principle of the mortgage, seconded by Karan W, accepted by all. Bonnie will make reader’s stand announcement regarding the proceeds going toward the church mortgage. Profit is $4.80 per butter braid ordered. Cost is $12 per braid.

 May Rosary/Dinner/Meeting Update: May 31st, 2017: This is on the anniversary of Fr Tony’s ordination. Fr Tony has agreed to lead rosary and say the benediction. Start with rosary at 6 pm, soup and salad dinner at 6:30 and meeting follow dinner. Bonnie will put in bulletin announcement by May 1st. Soup will be purchased from Appert’s and salads and desserts will be donated.

 Scholarship applications/ Holy Spirit Academy donation: Announcement will be put in bulletin. June 4th is baccalaureate mass. Applications will be due on Monday, May 15th by 5 pm. KC’s donates 3 scholarships and CCW donates 2 scholarships plus a donation to Holy Spirit Academy. Melissa A inquired about CCW donating toward youth attending the Extreme Faith Conference.

 Boutique Crafting Days and Nights: Tuesday April 4th - 6:30 PM Kick off! Tuesday April 18th – 9:00 AM Tuesday May 2nd – 9:00 AM Tuesday May 16th – 6:30 PM MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND COME ENJOY SOME CRAFTING with the Holiday Boutique Crafters

 Other items: Holy Spirit Academy is having a drama club performance called William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at St Henry’s on Friday, April 7 & Saturday, April 8 – open to parish. Please watch the bulletin for more details.

May Crowning: Scheduled for May 6th & 7th – Janelle will order flowers for this event.
