Jefferson Chamber Foundation Leadership Jefferson – 2011 / 2012

Jefferson Chamber Foundation Leadership Jefferson is a community leadership program through the Jefferson Chamber Foundation. Our mission is to provide the foundation for a life-long commitment to provide informed and committed leadership in Jefferson Parish. Out of the diverse group of individuals who apply to participate in the program, 30 are accepted each year. JCYL is a seven-month leadership program for high school students. Our mission is to provide the foundation for a lifelong commitment to provide informed and committed leadership in Jefferson Parish. High school students apply to participate. LABI Legislative Luncheon

The Legislative Luncheon features the President & CEO of the Louisiana Association of Business & Industry (LABI), who presents LABI's key issues to the business community. Last year’s ride included 650 riders and volunteers, great food, fabulous entertainment and a wonderful ride through 45 scenic miles of west Jefferson. The ride starts at Bayou Segnette, up the Mississippi River Trail, through the Jean Lafitte National Park and finally to the Town of Lafitte and back.
