Subject: Proposed sharing on Eucharistic Adoration by Anthony Chan
This is to certify that Anthony Chan is a lay leader in my parish and has been active in organizing Eucharistic adoration and prayer meetings in this parish. He is leader of the spirituality and formation team, a Eucharistic minister, a lector and leader of a prayer group in this parish. He has also created the website http://www.catholicworld.info to provide plenty of helpful catholic faith information on the Internet.
As part of his efforts to promote Eucharistic adoration, he has been giving sharing presentations to different groups in this parish. His presentations are on sharing and witness from personal experience in Eucharistic adoration. The purpose of the sharing is to encourage more Catholics to go to adoration and nothing else. The sharing from the experience of a lay person is not a teaching. He leaves the teaching to the church authority, but only helps to complement with sharing. He has already given similar sharing 100 times in various churches in 47 cities in N America, Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia before, and many past attendees had been touched to start Eucharistic adoration. He was a speaker on Eucharistic adoration at the Dallas Ministry Conference in 2013 and 2014 with approval from the Dallas Diocese, and another of his witness has been broadcast in ShalomworldTV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_UjAgmvkrY. He will separately provide the material of his sharing to the host.
If requested, he can also provide his professional curriculum vitae in a career as a researcher in USA with numerous publications in wireless and Internet engineering technology, and yet as a witness of the high-tech as a gift of God. His professional websites are http://www.eee.hku.hk/~hhachan/hanthonychan.html at University of Hong Kong.
