6.1 Need for Study;

In Ayurveda Dinacharya is considered as one of the important concept for maintaining Health.The aim of Ayurvedic science is"Swasthasya swasthya rakshanam Aturasya vikara prashamanam". In our classics we are getting lot of explanation for aturasya vikara prashamanam. i.e., in the form of nidana panchakas, sadhya asadhyata, arista lakshana, single drug therapy ,various metal formulation, combination of various medicinal plants. In our texts lot of regimens like Dinacharya, Ratri charya and Rutucharya are mentioned for Swasthya rakshana briefly, but many of them are not having much explanations.

In our ayurvedic texts paratantra avalokana (referring Allied sciences) is considered as one of the method to gain the proper knowledge. For maintaining health few regimens are explained very briefly in our science of life, it requires various scientific background to follow those regimen in our daily life. Other wise it would be matter of theoretical portion without much practical importance.

Considering these aspects, this study will be dealt with the help of Ayurvedic explanation about Dinacharya. These explanation will be strengthened by some of the Traditional texts like MANUSMRUTI, BUDDHIST LITARATURE, BHAGAVADGEETHA, BIBLE, QURAN, and SACRED BOOKS OF EAST

Hence this study is taken to co-relate and rationalize the Ayurvedic explanation of Dinacharya and its role, with traditional literature. It will be analyzed by the scientific explanation in this work. 6.2 Review of Literature:

 Reference regarding Dinacharya is mentioned in Ayurvedic texts such as Charaka samhita, Sushrutha samhitha, Astanaga sangraha, Bhavaprakasha samhita, Yogaratnakra.  Reference regarding Dinacharya is mentioned in traditional books:- Manusmruthi, Bhagavadgeetha, Bible, Quran, Buddhist literature, Jaina philosophy, Vidura neethi, Bratruharineeti shataka, Sacred book of east.  A scientific explanation as given in the website.

6.3 Objectives of the study: 1] Collection of the topics related to Dinacharya as explained in Ayurvedic texts such as Brihatrayes, Bhavaprakasha Samhita,Yogaratnakara. 2] Screening for similar topics in some of the ancient books such as Manusmruthi, Bartruharineethi shataka, Bhagvadgeetha which explains about various measures to lead a healthy and peaceful life. 3] Knowledge of Dinacharya as per ancient literature is compared with similar explanation given in Bible, Quran, Jain philosophy, Buddhist literature to see whether there is similarity or dissimilarities in health measures. 4] All the available explanation of Dinacharya are arranged in a systematic manner and an attempt will be made to see the inter relation of the topics among various sources. 5] A scientific explanation of Dinacharya will be taken from various researches International paper. 7. MATERIALS AND METHODS

7.1 Source of data The literary sources for the present work will be collected from Charaka samhita, Sushruta samhita, Ashtanga samgraha, Bhavaprakasha samhita, Manusmruthi, Bhagavadgeetha, Bratruharineeti shataka, Vidhura neeti, Quran, Bible, Buddhic litarature, Jain philosophy, Sacred book of east.

7.2 Method of collecting Data

• The study is only literary based research, so data is collected from ayurvedic texts and other traditional texts which are mentioned above.

• The compiled matter is analyzed and interpretated.
