During the Grant Period

Please acknowledge Delaware Humanities funding in publicity and at public programs and events supported by the grant.

Grants awarded by Delaware Humanities are provided by funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Please write a letter to Delaware’s congressional delegates describing your granted project’s impact on the local and/or statewide community. It helps to thank our Senators and Representative for recognizing the importance of Delaware Humanities grants and their continued funding from appropriations to the Federal/State Partnership Program of the National Endowment for the Humanities. We have draft letters pre-addressed to each of the Congressional delegates below. We also ask that you send a letter to the Delaware state Senator and Representative for the district where your project took place; a draft of that letter, along with a link to the Delaware General Assembly website to locate the addresses of these officials, can be found here.

Delaware Humanities asks that all grant recipients print the following thank-you letters to Delaware’s Federal Congressional Delegation on your letterhead and send to the below addresses. Please customize to describe your project and message.
