INDIANA MEMBERS FOUNDATION MARKS 5 TH ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT A SUCCESS FUNDRAISING MASQUERADE BALL RAISES OVER $27,000

(Indianapolis, IN, February, 2014) Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, hosted their 5th annual fundraising event, a Masquerade Ball, to benefit the Indiana Members Foundation, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, on Saturday, January 18, 2014. Over 235 people attended the sold out event which raised over $27,000 for the Indiana Members Foundation. The goal of the foundation is to provide underprivileged school children in the Indianapolis area with the necessities essential for learning and succeeding in their education.

Highlights of the evening included hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, a casino area, DJ and dance floor, and an opportunity to take candid photos in the photo booth. Primary event sponsors for the evening included the Indianapolis Indians as the Carnival Stage and DJ Sponsor, Ivan Ekhaus Insurance Agency as the Festa Indiana Casino Sponsor, WPB Constructors as the Grand Piazzo Dance Club Sponsor, and QSI Banking as the Picasso’s Portrait Studio Photo Booth Sponsor.

Mandy Emery, assistant vice president of community relations for IMCU and executive director of Indiana Members Foundation stated, “On behalf of Indiana Members Foundation I’d like to thank everybody that helped make this year’s Masquerade Ball possible. This is our fifth year of holding our annual charity fundraiser at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse and our fifth year to sell out.”
