To erect Memorial for Grave £112.20 To erect Upright Memorial (Maximum 450mm x 550mm (18”wide x £79.20 22” high) or Tablet for Cremation Plots Additional Inscription to Memorial £33.00 To remove a Memorial for Health & Safety repair £13.20

Purchase of a Burial Plot in advance of death £264.00 Purchase a Cremation Plot in advance of death £79.20

Application forms in respect of the above are available and must be returned to Mrs Josephine Rumsey, Town Clerk, Talgarth Town Council (address/telephone numbers below). Applications must be approved by the Burial Committee of Talgarth Town Council before any Burial takes place or any new Memorial etc is erected or removed from the Churchyard for additional inscriptions or any other work. All Memorial stones must be fixed in accordance with the National Association of Memorial Masons (NAMM) Code of Working Practice. For any discussions or site visits regarding Burial Plots or Memorial Stones, please contact the Town Clerk below.

Monumental stone must not exceed 1 metre high x 600mm wide x 100mm in thickness.

Types/Colours allowed for Memorials – Black, Dark Grey and Grey granite or of indigenous materials eg sandstone, are permitted but Not White Marble – NO Kerb Stones allowed anywhere in Churchyard.

Please Note: All Memorial/Headstones must be placed on the head of the Grave and the ground levelled off – failure to do so will result in the removal of Memorial/Headstone.
