Memphis, TN – This new distributor from FAST™ provides the customer with a high performance, EFI-friendly and more accurate ignition option than an OEM HEI distributor/coil/module system.

Designed for Small and Big Block Chevys, the new FAST™ Chevrolet EFI HEI Distributor works plug-and-play with the EZ-EFI® line and the XFI™ Sportsman system when EFI timing control is not required. The distributor supplies a discrete, square-wave and noiseless RPM signal that can directly provide a compatible EFI system with an extremely stable RPM output. The distributor is unique in its use of this EFI-friendly RPM tach output signal, which is not found on other competing HEI distributors. This lets the unit work easily with many aftermarket EFI systems. It also utilizes a rugged coil driver—combined with microprocessor-controlled multi-spark technology—to permit increased spark energy and RPM operation over an OEM HEI distributor. This allows for more horsepower by creating a more complete burn of the air/fuel mixture, especially in higher performance applications. The distributor extends the RPM limit beyond that of an OEM HEI distributor and is more accurate due to less timing shift at higher RPM. The FAST™ Chevrolet EFI HEI Distributor comes with a standard steel gear and is designed for many racing, street and off-road applications. It will also work with carburetors.
