HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE OF 2002

An outstanding student, John G. Carroll was a member of National Honor Society, a sports writer for the Sinewesah, ASB President at Pasco High, and served as co-valedictorian of his class of 1941. He obtained a degree in history at the University of Washington and graduated from the U of W law school in 1951. In 1985, he took a full-time appointment as a Court Commissioner for Benton & Franklin Counties Superior Court, primarily working with juveniles. John is known by judges, lawyers, and members of the community as a "kind and gentle person, who is accessible to all; whose office door is always open for consultation and advice on how to be a good lawyer." John was recognized by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services as "Outstanding Volunteer of the Year - 1999".
