Q. 1 Read the article 1.2, elaborate development of tool for the measurement of attitude using Multi-attribute Theory, also highlight the challenges in attitude measurement by providing examples. (20)

Q. 2 Highlight the difficulties involved in direct questioning and inferring from the observed behavior for the measurement of attitude, support your answer by examples. (20)

Q. 3 (a) Construct summated rating scale of 25 to 30 statements related to theme “Learning by Dong”. (10) (b) Critically analyze the guidelines for Pre-testing of the attitude scale, discuss the importance of each strep in detail. (10)

Q. 4 (a) Administer the developed scale to at least 40 students and make frequency distribution of the responses. (10) (b) Calculate t-values for each statement and formulate the criteria for selection of items for the final scale. (10)

Q. 5 (a) Explain the significance of Semantic Differential scale over the others, also highlight nature of the adjectives to be used for the development of semantic scale. (10)

2 (b) Discuss the layout and analysis patterns for semantic differential scale. (10)

Q. 1 Elaborate the concept of Uni-dimensional scaling. Also explain the Validation techniques and use of Guttman Scales for measurement by providing an example of each. (20)

Q. 2 Read the article 6.8 and discuss the basic concepts and principles for the use of factor analysis. Explain the role of Principal Component Analysis in tool development by examples. (20)

Q. 3 Read article 7.4 and explain the scope and significance of reliability measures. Also highlight the factors effecting reliability of the measurement tools by providing examples. (20)

Q. 4 Conduct interviews of six school teachers from nearby schools to collect their views about the role of teachers as facilitators of learning. Analyze data by using qualitative data analysis techniques. (20)

Q. 5 Explain the effect of role taken by the researcher for the conduct of observation on the results of observation. Develop guideline to avoid bias for the conduct of observation. (20)


