Bi-Lingual Youth and Family Counselor

OMNI Youth Services, located in the northwest suburbs, currently has an open position for a full-time Bi-Lingual Youth and Family Counselor. Qualified candidates must possess a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a human service related field with clinical experience. Candidates must possess the ability to work with adolescents and their families. The position’s responsibilities include the following:

 Diagnostic Assessments

 Family Counseling

 Group Counseling

 Individual Counseling

 Case Management

 Crisis Intervention

 File/Outcome Management

 Intensive Weekend Experiences

OMNI is looking for someone who is passionate about working with low to high-risk adolescents in the areas of family conflict and substance abuse treatment. Experience in working with the community-based programs is desired. Wilderness and experiential therapy experience and substance abuse treatment experience are essential for this position.

Evening hours and weekend availability is required. Candidates must possess the willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, the ability to be flexible, and the desire to be team- oriented.
