Position Summary:

The “first impressions greeter” for The Chase Near Eastside Legacy Center is responsible for serving the needs of our members including greeting, check-in and providing information about all programs in the facility. This position assists the Fitness Relations Manager in promoting, selling and processing membership, opening and closing the building, supervision of the Fitness Zone and assisting staff and partners with implementation of programming.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Development: Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures for the Chase Legacy Center. Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude, ensuring the needs of clients and team members are met and taken care of. 2. Program Management: Will make sure the customers, youth and adults, are directed to the right programs and scheduled classes. Will ensure times for classes are consistently up to date in the scheduling system. 3. Marketing/Communication: Responsible for coordination of information materials, program information, flyers, answering phones and directing communications to appropriate personnel. Positive customer-service is critical. 4. Integration: Identify specific customer needs and direct the customer accordingly. Build relationships with co-workers, volunteers, and members. 5. Financial Management: Ensure the Children and Youth Director receives accurate and timely time sheets, requisitions and cash receipts. 6. Operations: Enter and maintain customer information into the Center’s customer database. Clerical duties as assigned.

 Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or Communication preferred)

 Requires 1-3 years of customer-service or sales experience

 Experience working in a Fitness Facility

 Experience working with youth and knowledge of youth development competencies

 Requires ability to communicate effectively and must possess excellent verbal/writing skills

 Requires knowledge in conflict resolution skill and tactics

 Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, other Computer software’s and general computer usage

 Requires ability to work in a diverse environment and with people of diverse backgrounds

 Requires proper and pleasant phone etiquette and a pleasant personality

 Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed

 Requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills

 Bilingual skills are a plus
