Decoy Painting Seminar-Mallard Hen-May 13, 2006

We will be painting an E. Allen-Hen Mallard. This decoy is our Standard Mallard from a carving by Bud Shell (our alternative would be the Mag. Mallard by Keith Mueller). Bud Shell & Lou Tisch will be your instructors. You will receive your decoy at the class & it will be ready to paint. Bring Hen Mallard reference materials, books, pictures, mounts…anything for visuals.

Class Cost: $115 which includes: decoy, instructor fee, coffee/donuts, pizza & pop for lunch. Class hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Class Location: Shop of Lock Stock & Barrell, Inc., 123 Avery, Clinton Twp., MI 48036 Exit 236 from I-94 and turn West onto Metro Parkway. Go ½ mile & turn North on Harper which becomes Avery after the 2nd light. We’re on the right, 6 buildings South of South River Road.

This class is open to all who would like to attend, though space is limited (6-12 spaces available) (Minimum of 6 for class to run). Students are responsible for all supplies, except the decoy, which will be provided at the start of class. Lock Stock & Barrell will have the Golden Products, combs and some brushes available for purchase at the seminar. Supplies may be purchased jointly and shared as needed by the participants. Many of the brushes may be purchased at any art supply store prior to the seminar. We can email you a picture of the brushes we use and a list is below. Let’s have some fun!
