We require a highly motivated Physiotherapist specialising in Sports injury management and MSK rehabilitation. You must be passionate about physiotherapy and with support, have the desire to grow and develop the clinic.
Rebound Physio is set in an ideal location with ample parking facilities and has a fully equipped treatment room and gymnasium to allow full rehabilitation of patients.
The clinical caseload will be predominantly sport and musculoskeletal injuries including spinal and peripheral joint problems, and orthopaedics.
We are a social enterprise business with all profits going directly to our chosen charity; Brain Injury Matters NI.
Working hours will be 37.5 hours per week.
Essential criteria
BSc Honours Physiotherapy / MSc Physiotherapy Chartered Physiotherapist and practising member of the CSP and HCPC Highly experienced in treating musculoskeletal disorders (minimum 2 years’ post graduate experience in sports or MSK) Evidence of completion of post graduate musculoskeletal / sports management courses Ability to provide evidence of continuing personal development pathway Flexible approach to working hours and duties Full Clean Driving License Person specification
Capable of working single handed or as part of a small team as required Flexible in their approach to working in a small private practice Willingness to work effectively and deliver results Ability to promote the clinic and develop new business Excellent Interpersonal and organisational skills Punctuality and reliability essential Excellent level of spoken and written English
Core Responsibilities To undertake the assessment and appropriate physiotherapy management and/or treatment of private patients Within the treatment sessions the candidate will be expected to be able to take payment from patients, issue receipts, sign claim forms, if required To set and maintain a high standard of clinical practice To advise on/discuss the management of patients with musculoskeletal problems when consulted by physiotherapists from other areas, or other medical personnel Communicate as necessary with patients GP/ consultant/other health professionals Write medico-legal reports if required and liaise with Insurance companies Maintain an excellent standard of note keeping To develop the service available to patients with musculoskeletal conditions within the practice To assist in business development, identification of new market opportunities and growth of the Clinic To assist in marketing activity to promote Rebound Physio To manage and support Associate Physiotherapist To comply with all practice policies and procedures, the Health and Safety at Work Act, Manual Handling regulations, fire and other health and safety procedures. To ensure that all equipment defects, accidents and complaints are reported to the director To be aware of legal issues relating to physiotherapy. To participate in and initiate customer audits Assist admin staff with bookings, telephone, and other admin procedures To promote good working relationships at all times with all stakeholders
