Eligible Work: This Grant funds lead hazard control work, either Lead Safe Practices – interim controls or abatement. It can not fund ‘rehabilitation’ work. May 5 Clearance: All funded work must pass clearance upon completion. Clean-up and project certification prior to clearance must be conducted by a Lead Abatement Supervisor. Lead Abatement Worker: Interim Controls: May be conducted by worker certified in lead safe practices. However, clean-up and project certification prior to clearance May 6 – Prerequisite: must be conducted by a Lead Abatement Supervisor. Lead Safe Practices Abatement : By Lead Abatement Workers or Supervisors only. Training Costs/Deposit: None.
