CCAD Housing Selection Process

CCAD Housing Selection Process 2016-2017 Academic Year & Summer 2016

Housing Agreements will be accepted at the front desk of Design Square Apartments from March 28- April 1 during the times listed in the schedule below. You may select preferred roommates; however final room assignments will be made by the college. Summer residents will be housed on the fifth floor of Design Square Apartments only with 4 residents to each apartment.

Things to do before you can select a room: 1. RECOMMENDED (but not required): Complete FAFSA by the March 1 priority deadline.

2. Complete Housing Agreement(s) for Design Square Apartments. (Schottenstein is not an option for current students for next year.) Forms available only online at: www.ccad.edu/ccad-campus/residence-life/housing-agreement-information

3. Bring your Housing Agreement and $250 housing security deposit to the One Stop or pay on-line via CashNet. Security deposits for the current year cannot be used as a security deposit for a future term since current security deposits (minus lockout and damages charges) are refunded at the end of this current year.

Based on the eligibility schedule above, bring the Housing Agreement and One Stop receipt to the front desk of Design Square Apartments and see Mickey Hart or Jenn Bermudez to select your room. Once you have selected a room or had one assigned to you, your Housing Agreement becomes binding for both semesters of the new academic year unless you cancel by May 1, 2016. Agreements are for 2 academic terms for next year. We only accept single-semester housing applications for students graduating at the end of fall semester or for new residents spring semester.

Refund of Deposits and/or Residence Hall Fees: Students wishing to cancel a Housing Agreement must notify the Office of Residence Life no later than May 1, 2016. Housing security deposit refunds after this date are not granted for current students. If a student withdraws from CCAD after the first day of the semester or is released from his/her contract residence hall fees may be prorated at the discretion of the college. Releases for reasons other than withdrawing from CCAD are uncommon.
