DIOCESAN EDUCATION AND TRAINING FUND: The Retiring Collection this Sunday, 30 September, is for the Clergy Education and Training Fund. Envelopes are available for donations. See notice at back of church.
SATURDAY CLUB SPONSORSHIP: Andrew Christley is running the Berlin Marathon this Sunday, 30 September, for our Saturday Club and their Lourdes Pilgrimage. If you can sponsor him, there are forms at the back of church.
CAFOD HARVEST FAST DAY: CAFOD Harvest Fast Day is on Friday, 5 October. Envelopes are available today at the back of church. The Retiring Collection next Sunday, 7 October, is for the proceeds of the Fast Day. See notice in church porch.
DIOCESAN HISTORY DAY: There is a Diocesan History Day at St Mary of the Angels, Hooton CH66 1QJ, next Saturday, 6 October, 10.30 (for 11am) – 4pm. See notice at back of church.
CATHOLIC GRANDPARENTS’ ASSOCIATION: The first Diocesan Mass is to take place at Our Lady and the Apostles Church, Stockport, next Saturday, 6 October, at 2pm. Grandparents and their families, especially grandchildren, are invited; there will be refreshments afterwards in the Parish Centre. MUSICAL EVENING: St Catherine’s Singing Group, Blackthorn Root and friends on Saturday, 6 October, at 8pm. Light refreshments. In aid of CAFOD. £5 pay on the door.

QUIZ NIGHT: A Quiz Night will be run by the Pro-Life Group on Friday, 12 October, at 8pm in the Parish Centre. Light refreshments. Bring your own drinks. £5 (pay at door).
CATHOLIC CHILDREN’S SOCIETY: The Autumn Collection is now due and will be taken during October. Please place your donation in a plastic bag and put it in Collection or hand it to one of the clergy.
