DIOCESAN HISTORY DAY: There is a Diocesan History Day at St Mary of the Angels, Hooton CH66 1QJ, next Saturday, 6 October, 10.30 (for 11am) – 4pm. See notice at back of church.

CATHOLIC GRANDPARENTS’ ASSOCIATION: The first Diocesan Mass is to take place at Our Lady and the Apostles Church, Stockport, next Saturday, 6 October, at 2pm. Grandparents and their families, especially grandchildren, are invited; there will be refreshments afterwards in the Parish Centre.
