PC Green is directly aligned with the College Goal to “maximize existing resources while continuing to pursue new opportunities to support learning.” Committee’s Annual Report deadline: May 2016

Committee Charge: PC Green is charged with informing and recommending ideas/issues to the Campus and to interpret ecological issues that are relevant to the Campus. PC Green is dedicated to working with both Administration and the Campus as a whole to make it more environmentally knowledgeable and sustainable. Facilitate the creation of a campus sustainability plan. Scope of Committee’s Work: PC Green encourages conservation and efficient use of resources such as energy and water; to find ways to support recycling and to reduce waste. PC Green is the advisory group to Administration regarding conservation of resources that can save the campus money and/or reduce carbon emission of the Campus.

Expected Outcomes:

Phoenix College Committee Blueprint 1 of 3 PC Green will make continued recommendations based upon current and future campus activities. These recommendations will include ideas for enhancing current processes, recommending new strategies and reporting of current or proposed programs. PC Green will also sponsor various Green events on campus.

Measures of Success (Data): Measure the amount of recycled materials. Number of increased programs on campus Sponsorship and organization of campus events
