The Meeting Was Called to Order at 6:40 by Monty

FEPO MEETING MAY 21, 2007 The meeting was called to order at 6:40 by Monty. Those in attendance were Lisa Taylor, Beth Wittenberg, Rene Bender, Connie Sorum, Abby Thorne , Crystal Ratcliff, Tammy Brown, Sharon McClure, Denise Johnson, Christine Melugin, and Monty Melugin.

Lisa read the minutes from the April meeting. They were accepted by Rene and seconded by Crystal. Rene read the treasurer’s report. It was accepted by Lisa and seconded by Monty.

Rene reported that we had received many box tops at the last pick up, but there was not a final total yet.

It was discussed that there was good feedback on the carnival. We needed to get out Thank you cards. Crystal made a motion to put a thank you ad in the shopper’s guide. Rene seconded the motion. Beth will put it in the paper.

Outstanding obligations were discussed. These included the shirts and the ad for the carnival in the paper. Also, will run Sharon’s PO through this year’s budget.

It was discussed that special projects would have left over funds because the Site Council took over buying the white boards.

We have not received a bill for half the prairie T-shirts it is thought to be around $350.

Election of 2007-2008 officers Secretary- Lisa Taylor Unanimously Treasurer- Rene Bender Unanimously Vice President- Tammy Brown Unanimously  duties will include writing a small paragraph about FEPO meetings for the Flinthills Flyer. President- Monty Melugin Unanimously

Set the Budget meeting for July 18th 6:00 at Rene Bender’s.

Rene proposed that next year we set up more committees for projects.

Discussed that FEPO will have the carnival as a fundraiser again next year. And that we need to set a date.

Monty suggested that the November and December meetings be cut out next year, Rene suggested just the December meeting. This was agreed upon.

’07-’08 school year begins on August 16th for Kindergarten, 7th and 9th grades. The rest of the students return on the 17th. There was a discussion of trying to get parents in each grade to sign up to attend at least one meeting.

Next years meetings were set. August 20th in Rosalia September 17th in Rosalia October 15th in Cassoday November 19th in Rosalia January 28th in Rosalia February 25th in Rosalia March 24th in Cassoday April 21st in Rosalia May 19th in Rosalia

They will continue to be held at 6:30.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 by Monty and Seconded by Crystal.
