Four Divisions – 12 Games (Must pre-register by October 22, 2009 – no entries will be accepted the day of tourney). ENTRY FEE INCLUDES LUNCH ON SATURDAY Division 1 – players rated 1600 and above ($85) Division 2 – players rated 1300 – 1599 ($70) Division 3 – players rated 950 – 1299 ($70) Division 4 – players rated under 949 and unrated* ($70) (*see note below for unrated exceptions)

A variety of pairing methods will be used, depending on the number of players in a division. You must be a NASPA member to participate in the tournament. You may find information on joining NASPA at www.scrabbleplayers.org.  The most recent published NASPA Rating will determine your division (or higher Peak - see below). Unrated players will usually play in the lowest rating division. Exceptions can be made for players with club or on line experience.  You may play up one division if your rating is within 100 points of the cutoff at any time after June 30, 2009.  Current NASPA Tournament Rules will govern play. Clocks/timers are required – bring your own if you have one.  All players who have rotating boards, clocks and smooth tiles should bring them.  Cash prizes will be awarded in all divisions.
