Thank you for chromebooks, we’re using them -The Day paper reported at the RTM cut $350K from ed budget because state is cutting $1 million unexpectedly, administration is meeting on Monday to have least impact on kids -interviewing for Special Ed teacher & PE teacher -School survey-phone, email, website…please fill Mr. D Updates out, we use to drive ideas to improve as a district/school -Marine Science day- 30 high schoolers coming to run stations as well as PTA funded events Upcoming events: 5th gr picnic 6/2 5th grade Promotion 6/7 Field Day 6/8 (rain date 6/9) Talent show for 4th & 5th graders 6/13 at 6 pm (dress rehearsal during the day) Last day 6/14 363 total enrollment as of Monday Rubik’s cube club 1st & 2nd graders 1st grade Lyman Allyn-thank you PTA for funding Teacher Update Ms. Wadecki & a colleague will be speaking at an ipad conference at UCONN After school All Stars just finished---student- created tiles will be mural—Thank you PTA for funding!  Cowlicks Ice Cream Social Joanna motioned to pay for QH students & teachers that RSVP (up to $500) &Corlyn Webster seconded it

 Looking donations of Sand Toys for sandcastle building up to spend $300

 Jenn Boluch motioned and Joanna Eldridge seconded  Madeline Guarraia Scholarship (half of the profits from the 5K) 50% of net profits to go to a WHS scholarship fund to create a scholarship fund in honor of Madeline Guarraia being self-funded by the 5K being taken on by PTA Motioned by Jen Brooks and seconded by Joanna Eldridge

 Tree in her honor at the school. This to be done in conjunction OSW PTA— tabled for now Nominations & Voting Nominees:

 Liz Blomberg-secretary Voting was unanimous for all 3 - Kim will stay on as president until a successor is found according to Robert’s Rules New Business we will have a PTA meeting on June 1st 6:30 to present budget for next year and to present bylaws
