Marcexport

1. Run Access report to exclude suppressed records and e-resources -- Access query, customize it as needed: SELECT LOCATION.LOCATION_NAME, [Mfhd Master].DISPLAY_CALL_NO, [Bib Text].BIB_ID, BIB_MASTER.SUPPRESS_IN_OPAC FROM ((LOCATION INNER JOIN [Mfhd Master] ON LOCATION.LOCATION_ID = [Mfhd Master].LOCATION_ID) INNER JOIN ([Bib Text] INNER JOIN BIB_MFHD ON [Bib Text].BIB_ID = BIB_MFHD.BIB_ID) ON [Mfhd Master].MFHD_ID = BIB_MFHD.MFHD_ID) INNER JOIN BIB_MASTER ON [Bib Text].BIB_ID = BIB_MASTER.BIB_ID WHERE (((LOCATION.LOCATION_NAME)<>'INTERNET') AND ((BIB_MASTER.SUPPRESS_IN_OPAC)<>'Y')) ORDER BY LOCATION.LOCATION_NAME; 2. Get the list of bibids and save in text file; 3. Use Voyager webadmin – http://xxxxxxx.xxx.xxx/webadmin/ Record Type: Bibliographic MARC ID Input File: file.txt

4. Command line alternative – /m1/voyager/santdb/sbin Pmarcexport -rB -mM -t/m1/voyager/santdb/rpt/file.txt -i 5. Your MARC export file and log file can be found in /m1/voyager/xxxxdb/rpt directory;

Voyager Db Dump 1. Login to server as either the Voyager user or Oracle using PuTTY 2. Change directory to /m1/voyager/xxxxdb/rpt 3. Enter the following command unset NLS_LANG The following constitutes a single command and should be typed together on the same line: do not press "enter" until after typing the name of the file exp direct=y tables=BIB_DATA,BIB_ITEM,ITEM,ITEM_BARCODE,MFHD_ITEM,MFHD_DATA,ITEM_BARCODE_STATUS,ITEM_TYPE,ITEM_NOT E,LOCATION STATISTICS=none grants=n file=dbname_us7ascii.dmp 4. Look for the file “dbname_us7ascii.dmp” – this is the database to be delivered to OCLC
