Tropar of the Resurrection, Tone 6 The angelic powers were at Your tomb. The guards became as dead men. Mary stood by Your grave seeking Your Most Pure Body. You captured Hades, not being tempted by it. You came to the Virgin, granting Life, Lord, risen from the dead, glory to You.

Tropar of the church, Tone 1 In giving birth, you preserved your virginity. In falling asleep you did not forsake the world, Birth-Giver of God. You were translated to life, Mother of Life, and through your prayers you deliver our souls from death.

Tropar to the apostle, Tone 3 O holy apostle Philip, entreat the merciful God, that He grant our souls forgiveness of transgressions.

Kondak of the Resurrection, Tone 6 When Christ God, the Giver of Life, with His Life-giving Hand raised all the dead from the valleys of misery, He bestowed Resurrection on the human race. He is the Saviour, the Resurrection, the Life and the God of all. 3

Glory… Kondak of the church, Tone 2 Neither the tomb nor death had power over the Birth-Giver of God; she is ever watchful in her prayers and in her intercession lies unfailing hope. For as the Mother of Life she has been translated to life by the One Who dwelt within her ever-virginal womb.

Now and ever… Kondak to the apostle, Tone 8 Your apostle and friend, the emulator of Your suffering, the divinely eloquent Philip, proclaimed You to the world as God; by his prayers and through the Birth-Giver of God, keep Your Church and every city from most iniquitous enemies, O most Merciful One.

Prokimen of the Resurrection, Tone 6 Save Your people, O Lord, and bless Your inheritance. Verse: O Lord, to You will I call. O my God, be not silent unto me.

Prokimen to the apostle, Tone 8 Their sound has gone out into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. Verse: The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims the work of His Hands.

Alleluia Verses of the Resurrection, Tone 6 He that dwells in the aid of the Most High will abide in the shelter of the God of Heaven. He will say to the Lord: my helper are You and my refuge. He is my God and I will hope in Him. 4 Alleluia Verses of the apostle, Tone 1 The heavens shall confess Your wonders, O Lord, and Your truth in the congregation of Your saints. God is glorified in the council of the saints.

Communion Hymns Praise the Lord from the Heavens, praise Him in the Highest. Alleluia (3X).

Their sound has got out into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. Alleluia (3X).

There is no fee for the event, but we 8 do ask for each attending to bring a gift from the list on the flyer in the church hall to help alleviate the need to purchase these daily-used items throughout the school year. As enrollment increases, so do the needs of the students. As always, the faculty, administration and student body are grateful for your continued support, whether it be spiritual, financial or at the fundraiser. Items needed: cleaning supplies, HE laundry detergent/dryer sheets, paper towels/toilet paper/tissue boxes/napkins, white printer paper/dry erase markers, disposable plates/bowls, utensils/ziplocs, baking pans/jelly roll pans, gift cards: Costco/Sams club/ Shop Rite/Walmart/Amazon/Home Depot.
