Refreshments available CLASSES Ages as at 1st January 2016 Minimum age for classes 2-7 is 8 years on the 30th December 2016

CLASS 1-MINI MIXED TRIATHLON-7 years and under. Bean bag throwing Swim: 2 minutes (floatation aids allowed) Run:600 metres*

CLASS 2-MINIMUS BOYS TRIATHLON-11 years and under. Shoot: turning targets with 2 hands from 7 metres Swim: 2 minutes Run: 1000 metres*

CLASS 3-MINIMUS GIRLS TRIATHLON-11 years and under. As for Class 2

CLASS 4-JUNIOR BOYS TRIATHLON-14 years and under. Shoot: turning targets with 1 hand from 7 metres Swim: 3 minutes Run: 1500 metres*

CLASS 5-JUNIOR GIRLS TRIATHLON-14 years and under. As for Class 4

CLASS 6-MIXED INTERMEDIATE/OPEN TRIATHLON 21 years and under. Open to Pony Club Members and Associates Shoot: turning targets with 1 hand from 10 metres Swim: Girls 3 mins; Boys 3 mins. Run: Girls 1500 mtrs*; Boys 2000 mtrs*

CLASS 7-PARENTS TRIATHLON Teams of 3 parents, each parent to do a phase each, phases as for class 6

DIRECTIONS

From Ringwood take the A31 Eastbound, take the Picket Post junction towards Burley and follow the road through Burley towards Brockenhurst. Continue on this road for 4 miles, then take the turning on the right signposted Sway (Setthorns campsite), then right again immediately. Continue along to the end of this road and turn right (B3055). Take the next left on to Pitmore Lane. At the end of the road go straight over at the crossroads, on to Ramley Road. Continue down Ramley Road for 1.6 miles, just past the Tesco Express turn left on to North Street. The Centre is approx 250 metres on the left. Please use the Centre car park. AREA 14 WINTER LEAGUE COMPETITION

Part of the Area 14 Winter League Competition, competitors to compete in at least 4 of the eligible competition to qualify, best 4 scores to count (NB The Winter League is for Area 14 members only, Competitors must enter the same class at each event)

RULES  All classes will be judged in accordance with the Pony Club Tetrathlon Rule Book 2016  Any complaints/queries to be made by team managers only, to official organisers only within 10 minutes of the scores being published and with a £10.00 deposit, which will be refunded if complaint is upheld.  The organisers reserve the right to alter or combine any classes without prior notice if they feel that this is necessary.

LEGAL LIABILITY Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Organisers of this event nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness, to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE The organisers of the Event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all Officials and Stewards.
