Refreshments

As you can see from the “Presentation of Certificates” order, the sequence is different from last year. I took last years’ order and methodically scrambled it for equity. I hope this works out acceptably for everyone. It is very important to note that once the presentation component begins, you are asked to simply go up, introduce yourself, and begin your presentation. While the district “before you” is getting photographed, please move, with your recipients, to the front of the room. This simplifies the flow and minimizes the time issue.

In past years, we have typically kept the length of the program to approximately 75 minutes. I have taken the liberty to insert some suggested time guidelines, so we can all track with a sense of a time schedule. As you can see, we are allowing 63 minutes for the presentation portion, for the districts and SBCSS. This means that each district (SBCSS) has approximately 7 minutes.

I don’t want anyone to be offended or concerned that they may not have adequate time to say what they want to say. But, we always want to balance the need for adequate time with the importance of keeping the pace of our programming moving with no delays and lulls. Hence, the schedule.  Thank you for your understanding.

REMINDER: When you arrive, please go to the table near the front podium to pick up your folder with the award certificates for your district, and your copy of this participants program. Monday will be a great time, and we look forward to seeing everyone!!
