Bridgewater State University Summer Check-List 2017

This check-list is for students that have been admitted to Bridgewater State University for the Summer 2017 semester. All new students to BSU are required to complete the orientation process but one is not offered for the Summer session. You will be allowed to register for Summer courses but will also be required to complete the entire transfer process before you can register for fall courses. More information regarding this process will be sent to you in the future.

In order to enroll in Summer Courses, please complete the following steps.

STEP #1: CLAIM YOUR BSU USER ACCOUNT

Create your user account by going to https://services.bridgew.edu/ClaimAccount/. You will be prompted to create a password and will be assigned a Username and Email address. It may take up to one hour before your account is activated. Once your account is activated you should go to https://services.bridgew.edu/bannerid/ to get your PIN as this will be needed to access other electronic services on campus. Email is the official BSU form of communication, you should plan to check this account regularly at www.bridgew.edu, “MyBSU” and “Student Portal”. Please keep track of your personal information so that you will have access to these important online systems. You will also be asked to use a password, but we do not recommend that you write that down:

BANNER ID:______PIN:______USER NAME (email):[email protected]

If you did not access your PIN as instructed in STEP #1, your default PIN will be your birthdate in the form of a six-digit number (MMDDYY).

STEP #4: SUBMIT ALL FINAL OFFICIAL COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS

If you have not already done so, have all final official transcripts from previously attended institutions sent to the Office of Admission. Accurate placement testing requirements, transfer credit evaluations, and degree audits cannot be determined until these documents have been received and processed. This should be done as soon as possible.

This form can be found at: https://my.bridgew.edu/departments/HealthServices/SitePages/Home.aspx. Please allow yourself enough time to have Doctor’s signature and appropriate inoculations included if needed.
