 Success is based on the adaptation of the mobile application by the Virginia Wesleyan faculty, staff, and students. The information technology interns will promote the application adequately to ensure that the application release is successful. Estimated Completion Date:

Purpose of Project:

 The Wesleyan Goes Mobile project’s primary goal is to integrate various infrastructures into mobile devices for faculty, staff, and students.  With communication between the portal project, faculty, staff, and students will have a real time mobile friendly platform for communicating and information.  The major benefit is a full integration of online resources to mobile access which would target 96% of the Virginia Wesleyan Campus.

Background:

 Ellucian has created a mobile application which incorporates functions from an online portal. This mobile application is fully customizable and can be used to target the various groups at Virginia Wesleyan College.  Applicable customizing option include : Student Accounts, College Advancement, Club/Organizations, Athletics, etc. Deliverables:  The initial output of the project will be a functional portal and mobile application.  The portal will have basic Web Advisor functions which in turn will convert to a working format for the mobile application.

The application will be adopted and utilized by faculty, staff, and students.
