Delegations Manual The Governance and Legal Office has produced a revised Delegations Manual to reflect the current transitional structure of the agency.

Key points The revised Delegations Manual:  Entitles new positions and existing position holders to exercise a delegation  Is a transitional document which remains in force while the agency structure is being finalised. Once the restructure is complete a new edition will be released.  Entitles the Executive Directors to exercise the delegation formerly held by the Deputy Commissioner and Deputy Chief Executive  Does not effect Level 1, Level 5 or Level 6 delegates

Who needs to read this procedure? All staff applying financial or functional authority should be aware of their delegated authority.

Meal, travelling and related allowances - Permanent Firefighters

The Australian Taxation Office, Taxation Determination (TD 2016/13) advises that certain allowances hav e been adjusted, effective from 1 July 2016.

Pursuant to subclause 10.4.2.3 of the Crown Employees (Fire and Rescue NSW Permanent Firefighting Staff) Aw ard 2016, the following rates are adjusted by administrative action for Permanent Firefighters.

The following items in Table 3 of the abovementioned Award should now read:
