Center for Leadership & Involvement Committee on Student Organizations (CSO) Student Representative Application

The Committee on Student Organizations (CSO) is currently seeking more student representatives for this spring 2017 semester. Please email application and resume to Eric Knueve, [email protected] AND Omer Arain at [email protected] by Wednesday, February 8th.

The CSO currently has openings for multiple student representatives. Applicants will be appointed through the Associated Students of Madison Shared Governance process (with the Center for Leadership & Involvement’s input) based on the strength of their qualifications and application, while allowing the CSO to have a balance of representatives reflecting the diversity of types of Registered Student Organizations on this campus.

Compensation: Volunteer (unpaid) Hours per week: up to 10 hours per month Application deadline: February 8, 2017 Start date: As soon as possible after orientation meeting

ALL CSO REPRESENTATIVES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO MEET ON FRIDAYS FROM 2:30-4:30 PM Applicants will also be appointed based on the following criteria:  Dependability  Willingness to thoughtfully hold registered student organizations to the standards outlined in the Student Organization Code of Conduct http://www.guide.cfli.wisc.edu/code_of_conduct.htm  Availability to attend meetings  Communication Skills (verbal and written)
