PUBLIC NOTICE

RUSSIAN FEDERATION GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS TENABLE IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/16

The Ministry of Education and Skills Development invites applicants from qualified citizens of Botswana for thirteen (13) undergraduate scholarships tenable in Russia for the academic year 2015. Aspirants are advised that the language of instruction is in Russian, in this regard there is a mandatory language preparatory program for one year. All accepted candidates will receive allowance and accommodation on the same terms as applies to the citizens of the Russian Federation sponsored by the Russian Federation Government.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants should:

 Be citizens of Botswana in good health.  Have attained minimum of 46 points (BGCSE or equivalent)  Have school subjects in accordance with chosen speciality.

 Be twenty five (25) years or below.

 Have completed Secondary General Education (BGCSE or equivalent) in less than two (2) years from the date of this application.  Applicants should be practically healthy and without contra-indications for residing at climatic conditions of Russia.

 Application stating one (1) preferred programme of study and also include contact details e.g. cell phone and telephone numbers.  Certified copy of Omang (National Identity Card).  One (1) coloured passport size photo.  Certified copy of school certificate(s) or result slip.  Certified copy of the passport (Validity of passport should be more than two (2) years).  Original copy of Medical certificate  Copy of birth certificate  Original copy of HIV/AIDS test result certificate
