With the aim of allowing your own students the widening of their own curriculum through important experiences abroad, the parties agree on the following:

ARTICLE 1 - Definitions

If it has not already been indicated: INSTITUTION STUDENT COMING FROM refers to the University who will confer the final study title.

GUEST INSTITUTE refers to the University which has accepted to admit the student for a study period abroad and which foresees the full recognition of credits for the courses followed.

ARTICLE 2 - General Principles

The student exchange must be based on reciprocal bases with the aim of reaching an equal number exchanges by both parties for an agreed upon period of time. There is no obligation on the part of both institutions to activate the student exchange or to accept students for the present programme.

ARTICLE 3 - Modalities for exchange students

The parties agree to exchange a maximum number of ……… students for the academic year. The length of the exchange will be agreed upon every time according to the demands of the parties. The institution the students are coming from will be responsible for the search for and the selection of the students. The students will be required to have a good knowledge of English on arrival at the guest university so as to be admitted for the final selection. The students who will take part in the exchange must keep to the rules and norms asked for by the guest university. The guest university will ensure that the students have the necessary logistic support. However it is not obliged to provide accommodation nor to offer any financial assistance. The students who take part in the exchange will have to personally see to obtaining a visa and to completing all the bureaucratic work that is needed so as to be expatriated. INSERIRE LOGO

ARTICLE 4 - Enrolment, attendance and student evaluation

The students who take part in the exchange will be able to enrol on any course set up by the degree course (three year degree course/teachers’ training school/specialist school/single cycle teachers’ training course) - Class ……………. and Degree Course in ……………… for which they show they have the necessary requirements, following the regulations for admission, the timetables and the limits imposed by the guest University. The students will have the credits for the courses they attended recognized according to the rules of the University the students are coming from. The guest University will give them official certificates with a transcription of the credits obtained.

ARTICLE 5 - Fees and subsidiary expenses

The students who take part in the exchange will be enrolled in both institutions but will pay their taxes and any other eventual expenses at the University they are coming from. All the other personal expenses needed for the guest University, including the visa expenses, the journey, meals and accommodation will be up to the student, unless it has been agreed upon differently.

ARTICLE 6 - Health Insurance

All the students who take part in the exchange must stipulate a suitable insurance policy for the total length of the exchange.

ARTICLE 8 - Modifications and Length

The present Didactic Agreement can be modified by mutual consent, in writing, and must be signed by both parties. If stipulated as an added piece of protocol it has the same length as the agreement set out in the premise.

Drawn up in triple copy in Italian, in the language of the partner country and/or in English, each of which represents an original document.
