 Activities  Attended brainstorming sessions on how can eOman online donations portal support NGO’S and voluntary teams in other ways that are not financial

 Helped in the preparation of ITA’s first GRI report (managed to translate all the guidelines and performance indicators from English to Arabic + meetings with different departments to explain the process and what is required from them) then collected the information and sorted them out according to the guidelines. Also, wrote the first draft of the report. (3rd June 2013: I attended the Sustainability report launch event in Omantel)

 Wrote scenarios for 4 episodes for the YouTube awareness channel with minimal guidance from my supervisor

 Helped in writing the project charter regarding the renew of the building of Al Wafa’ Centre and proving new modern tools and equipment for the blind

 Helped in preparing a format for a new award that ITA is planning to launch “award of social responsibility”

 Green computing carbon footprint calculation: I took part in measuring the electrical devices energy consumption such as Laptops, monitors, Printers, telephones etc. using a certain device. Our aim was to decrease energy consumption of these devices

 Helped in creating an intranet page for CSR in ITA which was launched in during September

Projects:  Logistics & Supply Chain Management: 1. Facility location: analyzing the construction of a new plant in a certain area. 2. Transportation (routing and scheduling): finding the best and optimal route for a set of deliveries and pickups, and applying scheduling principles on the route.  Computer Simulation: Simulating the effect of combining two discussion rooms into one big room using excel and Arena software.
