Testing/Configuring Your Computer to Access a Webinar using Firefox

Download/Install the Collaborate Launcher

1. Click or copy and paste the following recording link: https://sas.elluminate.com/p.jnlp?psid=2014-12- 30.1148.M.6931066D43584F19009CAD343CAD34.vcr&sid=2011040

2. Select your Operating System > click Download

3. Click the Save File button. THIS FILE WILL NOT HARM YOUR COMPUTER. 4. Click the Download button on your Firefox toolbar

5. Select the Blackboard Collaborate Launcher file

6. Click Run

7. Click Next 8. Click Modify 9. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Main Feature icon button > select “Will be installed on the local hard drive” > click Next

10. Click Install (wait for the application to install) 11. Click Finish

2. Ensure Blackboard Collaborate Launcher (default) is in the Open with window (if not, use the drop-down arrow and browse for the Launcher > click OK. You will have to wait several seconds while the application starts/downloads. 3. If you get an Error warning, click OK

4. If you get to this screen and you can hear the audio, you have completed the setup.

The next time you access a live or recorded session you will not have to complete all of the steps outlined above. You will only have to complete the steps under Launching a Session.
