Length of instruction period: 45 minutes
How many periods needed to implement lesson unit: 10-15 classes
Grade Level(s) for use: 8th and 9th grade
Objectives: The students will be able to: 1. apply design and problem solving techniques to research, design, and develop a transportation model (each year it can be a different type of vehicle, such as NASCAR, NHRA dragsters, four-wheel drive trucks, four-wheel ATVs, motorcycles, antique cars, boats, planes, helicopters, trains, school buses, etc.)
