Playing Kit Audit required. Four shirts missing team captains to chase. Chair Report None Secretary None Treasures Attached Report Playing Senior Playing Report – March/April 2015

1. 1st team have won the two matches since the last report at home to IOW 34-25 and away to Alton 22-48.

2. Returning students and return of key injured players have made a big difference.

3. Numbers training peaked at over 30 on our last Thursday session that was followed by a curry in the clubhouse.

4. Sheridan Easton has continued his coaching involvement and is having a positive affect on our structure and decision-making.

5. Team spirit is building with a significant number of players happy to stay and socialise at the club.

6. Edge has requested that he carries out Physio on a Tuesday next season in order to coach on Thursdays - great news.

7. Graham Lusty has played his last game as Captain – it remains to be seen whether he plays at all next season. Senior players Ben Hewitt and Gerry Francis are enjoying the positive atmosphere and are planning to play next season.

8. In terms of relegation we still don’t know whether we are staying up or going down. Farnborough have appealed their points deduction so we are still in limbo.

9. Press and website needed added impetus.

Summer Training Schedule.

All sessions will be on a Thursday and start at 7pm

April/May - Casual Touch Rugby June/Mid July - Mixture of fitness and Touch

Mid July onwards - build up to new season

Saturday 22nd August 10-a-side tournament at Southampton RFC

Saturday 29th August Pre-season game vs Lymington Mariners

Saturday 5th September - new season starts

Youth Junior End of Season Fun Day to be held on 10th May Under 12’s down to ten players. Other age groups stable. Safe Guarding officer urgently required possible name in frame.

Clubhouse & Bar furniture: Heavy duty hotel/bar furniture chosen, 4 & 6 place Social tables. May require adjustment of wall mounted bars to accommodate new furniture. Cost in excess £3000 depending on Requirements.
