SCHOOL BUZZ Published by Army Public School, Nehru Road, Lucknow REPUBLIC DAY: CELEBRATING DEMOCRACY Army Public School, Nehru Road Lucknow, celebrated the 68th Republic Day with great patriotic zest & fervour. The Chief Guest for this proud day was Brig P. S. Sangwan, Commander 41 Infantry Brigade & the Guest of Honour was Mrs Sushma Sangwan. The Principal Ms Neena Mathur welcomed the Chief Guest. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest. This was followed by the March Past. The four Houses & the NCC contingents, marching smartly & in sync, passed the saluting dias to the accompaniment of the Military Band in all their regalia. The Head Boy designate, Naitik Badauriya & Head Girl designate, Vidhi Upreti delivered speeches in Hindi & English to mark the occasion. Patriotic songs sung by the students touched everyone’s heart. The speech given by the Chief Guest exhorted our students to pave the way for a better and brighter tomorrow. Nanda House Boys and Girls were declared the Best Marching Contingents of the Parade. Special Prizes were also given to Hindi & English Choir. The Programme culminated with the distribution of sweets among the students.

7 TH ICS INTERNATIONAL PAINTING COMPETITION In the 7th International Painting Competition organized by the Institute of Career Special Assembly on National Youth Day Studies, paintings of Sumit Singh (XB) & Anil Singh(XIH) were selected for ICS Calendar 2017 as a full page out of 238 paintings from 46 school from across India, Middle East & South Asia.
