Program Direction and Expectations – (Chris) - 35th Year of WRLAX - Wells Farmers Bank – players’ off season and regular season payments need to be made on time - Introduce Coaching Staff – Varsity: Head Coach Chris Knott; Assist. Head Coach Pat O’Connor; Off. Coord. Josh Secora; Def. Coord’s. Ken Clausen and Nick Ossello; Goalie Coach Rob Carroll JV: Head Coach Darin Denton; Assist. Coach Matt Malloy; Assit. Coach Tyler Burgasser; Assist. Coach Roger Yago; L3: Head Coach Gus Bridges; Assist. Coach Nick Robinson; Assist. Coach; Ryan Groat - Attendance and Academics – during the season, if student has more than 1 F they are ineligible for a week. If they had 2 F’s at the end of 1st semester, they have to regain eligibility by first few days of March, or they are ineligible for the season. - Tryouts – February 27th – March 1st, – then regular practice is 4 – 6 pm. After DLS 4:30 to 6:30 pm (Manning all levels at first) - Practice Schedule – Free Clinic at Manning 4 – 6 pm on 2/21 – 2/24 Tues – Fri, weather dependent for time/location - Season Schedule – on www.maxpreps.com and on calendars on website www.wrhslax.com – if you have a Google calendar click the Google button to download to your own calendar off of our website - Scrimmages Saturday March 4th, all levels, have to have 5 regular practices in to play. Var. @ Manning; JV at Highlands Ranch HS; L3 location TBD - Transportation during the season – buses all levels – Varsity - still working through the bus situation with district; JV and L3 all away games except on Saturdays. Varsity buses pick up/drop off at Pennington. JV and L3 buses pick up/drop off at Wheat Ridge HS. JV and L3 home games are at Manning. - San Diego Trip – March 26th to April 1st – Varsity team - HeadStrong game – May 5th - Jamboree - Dates June 3rd and 4th - Equipment and Uniforms - what do players need to bring with them, what do we supply? Helmets for sale ($198 CC, $190 Cash/Check) – have to have one by regular season - Team pictures – date will be announced as it is scheduled Club Organization – (Lorie) - Forms and Paperwork, Physicals needed - all papers and school money due to Liz Olson at WRHS by 2/17/17 - Free/reduced lunch program – school athletic fee is waived - Website – www.wrhslax.com and Twitter - @WRBoysLax - Spirit packs – order forms available tonight, we will have two types New Player and a Returning Player version This is a fundraiser too, not just a way to get team gear, additional clothing options for player and family members Two orders will be placed. One early and one a few weeks later, and that will be it for the season. For early order the forms and at least $100 are DUE Feb. 15th, if mailing, need to be mailed by Feb. 11th For the second/last order, the forms and at least $100 are DUE Mar. 3rd, need to be mailed by Feb. 28th Blankets - $45 cash/check, $47 CC Gloves – UA custom gloves $114 cash/check, $119 CC Mouth Guards – we have SISU mouth guards for sale, $15 cash/check, $16 CC. Here tonight, 40 of them Jackets – a few extras, L and XL for now, $130 cash/chk, and $136 CC, can maybe order more - Team Manager(s) needed for L3 - Team Dinners – throughout the season set up by team managers along with coach input

Club Fundraising – (Barb & Cindy) - Upcoming Fundraisers – just some examples of the fun ahead – we are looking for volunteers Pancake Breakfast and Raffle – Feb. 25th – athletes will sell tickets, help at event, need donated raffle items Chipotle Night – Trying for March 16th, at Applewood location Wine/Beer Tasting and Silent Auction – Saturday, March 18th at Montrachet Spring Plant Sale – May, ready for Mother’s Day gifts (Jen Capps and Gina Pickerel working with Cheryl) Program Ads – We need volunteers to collect ads from parents and businesses King Sooper’s Gift Cards – (Cindy) Farmers Lax – we now have our own 501c3 – (Cindy)
