Services offered: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9 am – 11 am give clothing vouchers to anyone, but cannot use vouchers until the next day. If bring a letter from Agency on letterhead, they will go ahead and allow you to use the voucher the same day. In cases of emergency (fire, flood, etc.), they will do clothing vouchers at any time (not just Tuesdays and Thursdays). There are no criteria for eligibility to receive clothing vouchers. The head of household must bring in picture ID and one other form of identification (Social Security Card, Birth Certificate) and one form of identification for all other household members.

You must provide the number of family members in the household (because you receive a certain number of items per member), but all household members are not required to be present. ***The giveaway for August 2017 has already been done.

**If Case Manager provides a referral on letterhead listing all members of the household that need clothing assistance, the family can receive a voucher for some free clothing under three situations: Assistance with clothing for Employment Training Programs, job search and/or new employment opportunity; Transition situations (i.e. homeless shelter, recovery program, incarceration release, foster care/protective services scenarios, domestic violence situations); Crisis situation (i.e. flood, chemical spill, fire). The referral letter must be brought to the Career Development Center during the Center’s normal operating hours (which are usually 10 AM to 4 PM). Along with the referral letter, adult will need to provide their picture ID and a social security card for all household members listed. All adults receiving a voucher referral must be present and complete a Palmetto Goodwill Registration Form. Individuals will only be assisted one time within a 12-month period; exceptions may be made only if a different crisis situation has been identified. Please ensure that individuals are aware that voucher cards are preloaded with $25 value each (for clothing/shoes), and that lost cards will not be replaced.
