a.ii. Coach has been suspended from Senior Hockey team until playoffs. Larry Eyben to contact Hockey Alberta to determine any effect on coaching.

a.iii. Hockey Alberta no longer sanctions Parent/Player games or on ice activities. This applies to all divisions. If a team wants ice time with parents, they will rent the ice from VMHA and pay for it from team account. It could count as a team building activity but is not insured and is considered a private event. b. Novice

d.i. Letter from parent regarding reduction in shifts. Her child was hurt for most of first part of league play. She has returned on January 2, 2014. Motioned made by Sherri Martin: Unless minutes are found regarding alternative ruling, the parent will be given until March 31, 2014 to work her two concessions shifts. Seconded by Gerald Martin. All in favour. Carried. e. Peewee

e.i. All is good f. Bantam

f.i. All is good g. Bantam/Midget Girls

g.i. Request from Midget girls that they be allowed to play provincial games elsewhere if required. Many girls are from other towns and ice may possibly by easier to secure in these other towns. Motion made by Carolyn White: VMHA allow midget girls to play provincial games elsewhere. VMHA will pay ice and referee fees. Seconded by Mark Protsch. All in favour. Carried.

g.ii. Bantam Girls – still having issues. Discipline Coordinator is involved. h. Midget

h.i. Midget Tier 1 team is only team in “B” provincial categorization in Zone 2.

h.ii. Midget Tier 1 was unable to fill their tournament even though a lot of time was spent trying to secure teams. Question was brought forward asking VMHA to pay for their one out of town tournament that they have attended. Many of this group was involved in the host committee of provincials last year.
