BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

INVITATION FOR COURIER SERVICES UNDER FRAME WORK CONTRACT

MOH /SRVCS /16-17 /00624 1. Ministry of Heath has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of courier services under frame work contract 2. MOH invites your bids for the provision of the above Services. 3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to only local (Ugandans) eligible bidders with copies of the national Identity cards or passports of the majority share holders. 4. Interested Firms may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at address below 8(a) between 9:00am to 4:00pm on Official working days. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders at the address below at 8(a) at the amount of 50,000/= per document. The document should be picked from the same address. Late bids shall be rejected. The method of payment will be Ministry of Heath bank Account

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) at or before 11:00 am on 4th /May / 2017.All bids must be accompanied with a Bid Security. Late bids shall be rejected. A public bid opening will be conducted at the address below at 8(a) at11:30.am on 4th /May / 2017 7. There shall be no pre – bid meeting.

8. (a) Documents may be inspected at: Head Procurement and Disposal Unit Ministry of Health Headquarters, Room C107 P.O. Box 7272 Kampala (b) Documents will be issued from: As in 8(a) above. (c) Bids must be delivered to: As in 8(a) above.

9. The planned procurement schedule (subject to changes) is as follows. Activity Date a. Publish bid notice 4th /April / 2017 b. Pre-bid meeting where applicable N/A c. Bid closing date 4th /May / 2017 d. Evaluation process (within 20 working days from bid closing date) e. Display and communication of best evaluated (Within 10 working days from Contracts bidder notice Committee award) f. Contract signature (after expiry of at least 10 working days from display of the best evaluated bidder notice and Attorney Generals approval)
