Easybib Instructions:

1. Use www.easybib.com to record the required citation information for each source you use. a) Register in the upper right corner with your email and a password that you won’t forget. b) Choose your type of source from the tabs (website, article...). c) Select APA as your citation style. d) Paste the web address of your source into the search box and click “Cite this”. e) Scroll down and check your citation carefully. Sometimes you will have to enter your source information manually. For authors and dates of websites, check the top, bottom, and “About Us”.

f) Once you have checked and/or filled in all possible boxes, click on “Create Citation”. A copy of your citation will appear in italics on the screen. g) Continue these steps for each source you use. Use three sources.

2. To print off your list of “References” from Easybib as Word document: a) Click on “Export or Print” on the right hand side. Select Word document. In a few seconds it will appear.

b) Save this page to your “My Documents” just to be safe before you print.

c) DON'T CHANGE THE FORMAT. Easybib is designed to do the work for you. The only thing you might want to check is the length of the typed lines. If the web address is too long, Easybib will put it on a separate line and leave a big space. To fix, just click on part of the web address and hit enter. The web address will split and fill in the space properly.

*See the sample References List on the web page.*

d) Type your name at the top or bottom and print!

e) Staple your References to your research.
