FINAL THOUGHTS 2 Timothy 4:1-5
Eight things I want to share with a Church that has loved me well:
1. Be the Word: *You may be the only Bible someone reads. *In order to be the Word before others you must know the Word.
2. Be Prepared: *To share your testimony when an opportunity is presented.
3. Be Patient: *With yourself and others. *It’s about progress, not perfection.
4. Be Precise: *Let your sharing be clear. *Keep it simple.
5. Be Attentive: *Pay attention to the culture around you. *Engage it with truth.
6. Be Clear-Minded: *Be calm and cool and steady in all situations.
7. Be Diligent: *Share the Good News by what you say and how you live. *Let this be your heart, your task, your joy.
8. Be God’s Servant: *God has given you a ministry and He will equip you for it. *It is our privilege to serve Him.
Final - Final Thought:
“Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my request for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began a good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ returns. So it is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a special place in my heart.”
Philippians 1:3-7a (NLT)
