ALPHAFIT 2015 QLD Senior & Junior Championships (Qualifying event for selection in the Queensland Teams for the 2015 National Senior & Junior Championships)

Date: Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June 2015 Venue: Cougars Weightlifting Club Sleeman Sports Complex Corner Old Cleveland Rd & Tilley Rd, Chandler Qld Entries Close: Sunday, 14th June 2015 Entry Conditions: $25 per entrant. All entry fees must be paid by the close of entries on Sunday 14th June 2015. All entrants must be current QWA members. Juniors are those athletes born during or after 1995. Identification: All competitors must present photo ID at the weigh-in. Minimum Entry Standards: Senior Championships: D Grade of the AWF Grading Standards Junior Championships: E Grade of the AWF Grading Standards These standards apply to competition entry only. Athletes can compete in a different bodyweight category to the one in which they have qualified. Qualification Period: 14th June 2014 – 14th June 2015, inclusive. Bodyweight Categories Male: 56, 62, 69, 77, 85, 94, 105, 105+ Female: 48, 53, 58, 63, 69, 75, 75+ Verification of Entries: Changes to nominated bodyweight categories must be notified prior to the verification of final entries which will take place at the QWA Office, the Sleeman Sports Complex, Chandler, at 12:00 noon on Friday 26th June 2015. Outfit of Competitors: One-piece weightlifting costume that complies with the IWF Technical Rules Individual Awards: Gold, Silver, Bronze medals in each bodyweight category; Senior / Junior Best Lifter Awards: Determined by the Sinclair formula –Male / Female; Senior / Junior Performance Awards: Determined by the Forbes formula – Male / Female; Senior / Junior AWF Grading Standards: Male 56kg 62kg 69kg 77kg 85kg 94kg 105kg +105kg D Grade 125 143 153 167 177 188 190 196 E Grade 102 117 125 137 145 154 156 161

Refund/Credit Policy: Withdrawal of entry notified more than fourteen (14) days prior to the competition will result in the entry fee being refunded in full Withdrawal of entry notified after fourteen (14) days but up to five (5) days prior to the competition will result in the entry fee being held in credit and applied to the next QWA competition entered into by the original entrant Withdrawal of entry which is not notified, or is notified less than five (5) days prior to the competition, will result in the full entry fee being forfeited by the entrant.
