1. Identify position that is available Mgr 2. Ensure there is a job spec / description for the position Mgr 3. Complete Authority to recruit (ATR) form Mgr 4. Ensure CEO signs ATR PO 5. Complete internal advert from ATR & Job Spec PO 6. Ensure internal advert posted on your branch notice board PO and emailed nationally to PO’s 7. Place external ad in newspaper / internet. Ensure clear PO message and instructions. 8. Notify switchboard if ad response to be taken PO 9. Prepare interview guide per candidate to be interviewed for PO manager (Interview guides will be made available from Vanessa Smith) 10. Prepare questions from CV PO / Mgr 11. Conduct interview Mgr 12 Conduct reference check PO / Mgr 13. Short list candidates Mgr 14. Conduct Personality Profile Indicator (PPI) PO & VS 15. CEO to do final approval of selected candidate (can be via CEO interview or perusal of CV, interview guide, references and PPA documents). AF to approve Dbn, PMB, RB, North West and Admin SMC to approve Jhb, CT, PE, and COG Projects appointments 16. Attach CEO approval (signature or email approval) to letter PO of Offer. File in Employee file 17. Make offer / confirm start date and acceptance 18. Regret unsuccessful internal applicants in writing (copy of letter in their employee file) 19. Regret external applicants, telephonically, can follow up in writing. 20. Open employee file for new appointment.
