Overview Briefly describe the purpose of the project and the key elements included in the Project Plan.

Project Projects include numerous internal and external organizations. Organization A comprehensive and unambiguous view of project participants Structure depicts the interdependent complexity of product delivery, identifies the required, critical organizational relationships to be established, and defines the communication requirements for the project. Update the diagram of the project organization structure, developed for the Project Charter. Constraints Any known constraints imposed by the environment or by management are to be documented. Typical constraints may include fixed budget; limited resources; imposed interim and/or end dates; predetermined software systems and packages; as well as other predetermined solutions. Scope Statement Briefly describe the breadth and depth of what capabilities are delivered and accomplished by the project, referencing the approved Project Charter and using information from client meetings and other stakeholder sessions. Also describe what capabilities are not going to be delivered or accomplished by the project. Excluded deliverables may be those deferred or provided in a later phases, and separate projects..

Deliverables The project deliverables define the products that are produced by the project. Clear and unambiguous deliverables establish and confirm project expectations, eliminate confusion about the products that are to be delivered and define the requirements for the work that must be completed. Update the diagram of the specific project deliverables developed for the Project Charter. Comment on and refer to the report in this section and attach the deliverables diagram to the Project Plan document.

Performance Briefly describe overall project/contract performance expectations Expectations from the client perspective, referencing the approved Project Charter and using information from client meetings and other stakeholder sessions. .

Deliverables, The project may be constrained by the latest, signed client Due-Date and contract. Price Contract changes are managed throughout the project using a disciplined, structured Change Control process, and the revised, latest contract continuously documented and communicated to project stakeholders, using the Contract Compliance report. Update the Contract Compliance report, referencing the report produced for the approved Project Charter and using information from client meetings and other stakeholder sessions. Comment on and refer to the report in this section and attach the updated/latest report to the Project Plan document.

Work Breakdown The WBS is the comprehensive list of all required project Structure (WBS) management deliverables and associated activities and tasks, and product build and delivery activities and tasks. The project WBS may be created manually or developed with the aid of any of the available project management software tools such as MSProject™, Primavera TeamPlay™, or Project Workbench™ Develop the WBS referencing the organization guidelines or methodology. Comment on and refer to the WBS in this area of the Project Plan and attach the completed WBS to the Project Plan document.

Schedule The project schedule includes the planned dates for completion and delivery of critical project management control outputs, and product build and delivery milestones.
